Burn Wise
EPA’s Burn Wise Video Contest Winners and Honorable Mentions |
We are pleased to announce the winners of the 2010 Burn Wise 48-Hour Video Contest. The winning videos will help promote responsible wood-burning techniques that can help citizens save money while making the air healthier to breathe. We really appreciate the time and effort that the videographers dedicated to the project and we are very pleased with the results.
EPA’s Burn Wise campaign encourages citizens to reduce pollution from their fireplaces and other wood-burning appliances. Wood smoke is made up of a mixture of gases and fine particle pollution that isn’t healthy to breathe indoors or out – especially for children, older adults and people with heart disease, asthma or other lung diseases.
