Many people have raised concerns about animal testing and the HPV Challenge
Program. You can download the Agency's Factsheet
on Animal Welfare (PDF Format) to learn what the EPA is doing
to avoid unnecessary testing and to reduce the use of animals.
Letters from
companies and other sources asking specific technical questions about
the HPV Challenge Program. The Agency response is included with each letter.
Detailed technical information on some of the issues appearing briefly
in the FAQs can be found in the papers posed on the Guidance
documents page.
The Agency has prepared a series of Fact
Sheets on the ChemRTK Initiative. They are a convenient source
of information on various aspects of ChemRTK, including the HPV Challenge
Program and Children's Chemical Health Testing, and address issues ranging
from animal welfare to voluntary participation in the HPV Challenge. These
documents are in PDF format and will require the Adobe Acrobat Reader.
