| Additional Information | The property tax exemption applies to "Class I" residential renewable energy systems and hydropower facilities installed on or after October 1, 2007, that generate electricity for private residential use . Municipalities are authorized, but not required, to offer a property tax exemption to combined heat and power (CHP) facilities. CHP facilities must have been installed on or after July 1, 2007. |
