Critical Information The Illinois Clean Energy Foundation provides funding to nonprofit organizations and state and local government agencies serving Illinois Residents. The Foundation provides grants, loans and other financial support, on a competitive basis, in response to proposals submitted by organizations. Eligible projects include installation of model energy efficiency systems not yet widely adopted in Illinois to demonstrate effectiveness in a common type of facility and projects demonstrating market viability for DG.

Additional Information For competitive grants, funding is given twice a year. For 2008, the application deadlines are January 18, 2008, and July 18, 2008.
