Policy SummaryVermont's Clean Energy Development Fund (CEDF) was established in 2005 (10 V.S.A. 6523) to promote the development and deployment of a range of energy types including CHP. Through 2012, the CEDF was funded by annual payments from Entergy. The CEDF received a $3 million legislative appropriation in 2013 and the current five-year strategic plan anticipates annual appropriations of at least $5 million.

Funding for CHP projects provided by these resources would be found under related dCHPP incentive types (e.g., loan, grant, or rebate).
