What is the process to file a discrimination complaint?

If you believe you have been discriminated against when applying for a job or while on the job because of your race, color, national origin, sex, age, religion, disability, or retaliation, or for opposing a prohibited personnel practice or participating in an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) process, you may file an EEO Discrimination with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

Who can file?
Any EPA employee or applicant for employment with EPA may file an EEO discrimination complaint.

Headquarters Employees contact the Office of Civil Rights (OCR) at (202) 564-7272 (Voice) or (202) 501-1822 (TDD).
