Colorado
Colorado is committed to being a leader in clean energy. Both the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and the Governor’s Office of Energy Management and Conservation have a long history of providing support for energy efficiency, renewable energy, and clean air. The two agencies are currently working collaboratively to improve the energy efficiency of state buildings – a lead-by-example effort that demonstrates how clean energy practices can save money and benefit the environment. By participating in the Clean Energy-Environment State Partnership, Colorado plans to expand on this collaborative and achieve economic and environmental benefits through sound public policy and public-private partnerships.
