Clean Energy: State Climate and Energy Program logo.

Colorado is committed to being a leader in clean energy. Both the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and the Governor’s Office of Energy Management and Conservation have a long history of providing support for energy efficiency, renewable energy, and clean air. The two agencies are currently working collaboratively to improve the energy efficiency of state buildings – a lead-by-example effort that demonstrates how clean energy practices can save money and benefit the environment. By participating in the State Climate and Energy Partnership, Colorado plans to expand on this collaborative and achieve economic and environmental benefits through sound public policy and public-private partnerships.
