The mission of the Texas State Energy Conservation Office (SECO) is to maximize energy efficiency while protecting the environment. Programs like LoanSTAR (Saving Taxes And Resources) and the Texas Energy Partnership demonstrate we can improve air quality through energy efficiency, but we've only scratched the surface. Partnering with the EPA through the State Climate and Energy Partnership Program will help align Texas' existing clean energy programs with state environmental objectives and identify new opportunities that can further the utilization of clean energy in environmental policy.
