About Electronic Reporting

This page provides information on the Electronic Greenhouse Gas Reporting Tool (e-GGRT), a new web-based system EPA is developing to support reporting under the Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program (GHGRP). The e-GGRT registration module is now available and can be accessed at: https://ghgreporting.epa.gov. Additional information and news on e-GGRT can be found at www.ccdsupport.com.

You must register online to become an e-GGRT user. Upon completion of the user registration process, e-GGRT will allow you to register facilities and suppliers and submit Certificates of Representation to EPA.

EPA has scheduled an e-GGRT Registration Overview for anyone who has not previously registered with e-GGRT. The webinar will cover registration procedures for Reporting Year 2011 facilities and will be held on May 10, 2012 from 1:00 -2:00 pm (EST). Register »

Data that must be reported once under Subpart L, section 98.126(a) and (f) should be included as part of the RY 2011 annual report, due September 28, 2012. More Information.

With the completion of EPA’s scheduled maintenance outage, the electronic Greenhouse Gas Reporting Tool (e-GGRT) is now available for the 2011 Reporting Year. Facilities and Suppliers subject to EPA’s Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program (GHGRP) may now begin entering their RY2011 data into e-GGRT by logging in at https://ghgreporting.epa.gov.

REMINDER: If you submitted a GHG report for reporting year 2010 and you will not be reporting on any of the new 2011 source categories (PDF, 1 pg, 44K), then your report is due by April 2, 2012. An overview e-GGRT webinar that covers data entry changes from Reporting Year 2010 (RY2010), data that will carry over into the 2011 forms, and other helpful information, was held on February 28, 2012 (PDF) (12 pp, 724K). Slides presentations from the e-GGRT webinars held last year are available on the training page.

If you are required to report for any of the new 2011 source categories, then your report is due on September 28, 2012. You must be registered in e-GGRT by July 30, 2012. However, if you are required to report for any of the new 2011 source categories AND if your facility submitted a GHG annual report for reporting year 2010 under another subpart (e.g., stationary fuel combustion), then by April 2, 2012 you must notify EPA through e-GGRT that you are not required to submit the second annual report until September 28, 2012. The reporting deadline extension applies to all subparts being reported by the facility or supplier.

Reporter registration is a necessary first step in meeting your GHG reporting obligations. The e-GGRT registration module is available at ghgreporting.epa.gov.

e-GGRT webinars for the new 2011 source categories will be scheduled in the spring 2012. The schedule will be posted on the “Training and Testing Opportunities” tab.

If you currently report emissions to another program, please visit the Interactions with Other Reporting Programs page.

Please visit the Subpart RR resources webpage for information on Subpart RR deadlines for the 2011 reporting year.
