Details: As of July 2002, retail electric providers (REPs) must provide the standardized format Electricity Facts Label to customers upon their request. Labels must include electricity prices, contract terms, sources of generation, and emissions levels. As part of its 1999 electric utility restructuring legislation, Texas REPs are required to disclose certain information to customers on an "Electricity Facts Label".
