  National Environmental Crime
   Prevention Week

NOBLE PROCLAMATION The following information is provided by NOBLE regarding the 2004 National Environmental Crime Prevention Week and their support of it.

WHEREAS, The National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE), fully supports National Environmental Crime Prevention Week; and

WHEREAS, NOBLE and The United States Environmental Protection Agency have been involved in a training partnership initiative since 2002 which was designed to educate law enforcement officers who work or live in jurisdictions where crimes against the environment are perpetrated in disproportionate numbers; and

WHEREAS, this training program provides invaluable basic knowledge and information to assist law enforcement officers in identifying environmental crimes and initiating enforcement actions,

BE IT PROCLAIMED , that the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives encourages its members to fully support activities during National Environmental Crime Prevention Week and continue raising the awareness of environmental crimes, which affect various communities.
