The annual Air Facility System (AFS) national workshop was held on July 24 - 28th at the Crowne Plaza Washington National Airport Hotel located in Arlington, Virginia. Our theme, "Making a Commitment to Quality Data for the Air Program and the Public," emphasized the efforts taken to provide quality data about our Nation's air and making it readily available. The 2006 workshop encouraged further collaboration on current and future enhancements to the AFS database through various dialogue, training and discussion sessions.
