Community Outreach Programs

Center Activities

Community Outreach programs within the NEIC include participation at Earth Day celebration, hosting international visitors and providing presentations at numerous workshops, seminars and forums, both nationally and internationally.

Some noteworthy activities:

EPA's Science Forum: Held on an annual basis, NEIC provides demonstration and interactive exhibits consisting of field equipment and computer forensics, and occasionally, a chemistry "Magic" show.

Interpol Forensic Science Symposium Exit EPA Disclaimer : NEIC participated in the Environmental Forensics session of the 13th Interpol Forensic Science Symposium held in Lyon, France. The symposium is a forum for the exchange of scientific and quality management approaches that can be used to enhance technical support to enforcement investigations.
