Multimedia STAG Grant Topics

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance (OECA) makes grant funds available to regulatory partners to strengthen their ability to address environmental and public health threats, while furthering the art and science of environmental compliance. Funding for the grant program has been provided through annual congressional appropriations for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). OECA announces funding opportunities through a more general solicitation announcement highlighting the eligibility criteria, described the funding area, explained the process of applying for funds, and included a suggested outline for submitting electronic proposals.

FY08 Solicitation

The Office of Compliance published the fiscal year 2008 STAG solicitation (PDF) (40 pp, 196.24K) in May, 2008. This solicitation explains the eligibility criteria, the funding areas, the process for applying for funding and the due dates. The FY2008 frequently asked questions further clarify the application process. Potential applicants may submit additional questions to Ginger Gotliffe (gotliffe.ginger@epa.gov) by the date listed in the solicitation notice and the frequently asked questions file will be updated approximately 2 weeks later. FY07 Solicitation

The Office of Compliance published the fiscal year 2007 STAG solicitation (PDF) (37 pp, 256.18K) in July, 2007. The proposals were due July 23, 2007. For background information please see the STAG Grant 2007 Fact Sheet (PDF) (2 pp, 24K) and the grant.

FY06 Solicitation

The Office of Compliance published the fiscal year (FY) 2006 solicitation (PDF) (19 pp, 84K) in early April, 2006. The proposals were due June 14, 2006. The FY2006 STAG Grant Awards (PDF) (2 pp, 17.17K) file shows the awards that have been made.

FY05 Solicitation

The Office of Compliance published the fiscal year 2005 solicitation (PDF) (15 pp, 166K) announced the availability of STAG funds. The deadline for submitting applications to EPA was February 18, 2005.The FY2005 funding selections were made on July 5, 2005. FY04 FR Notice
