Regional Administrator Richard Greene addressed a welcoming audience
of local business leaders at the 2005 Environmental Seminar hosted
by the Greater Dallas Chamber. The all day conference included presentations
by TCEQ Commissioner John Soward, Texas Environmental Research Consortium
Executive Director John Hall, and North Texas Air Quality Consultant
Gregg Cooke. Each shared information on their organization's efforts
to help achieve air quality goals for the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan
area as well as throughout the State of Texas. The conference included
presentations on a number of additional topics of interested to
the business community including Brownfields redevelopment, Dallas
environmental management system, solid waste, water conservation,
and the city's new environmental director - Laura Fiffick.
