Emerging Topics in Stormwater Management

Description:
This seminar will present some of the latest developments in innovative stormwater management strategies and issues of emerging importance through case studies of projects that have presented unique challenges including balancing recreational use with public safety and water quality, regulatory strategies including impervious area limits and numeric water quality requirements for stormwater, development restrictions in drinking water supply watersheds and pollutant trading. Co-instructors Jonathan Jones, P.E., D.WRE and Andrew Earles, Ph.D., P.E., D.WRE., CPESC will draw on examples from Colorado, Missouri and Arkansas, and other experiences from assignments across the country.
