Randall J.F. Bruins

Prior to 1994, I developed methods for analyzing human exposures and risks from disposal of wastes, including sewage sludge disposal and municipal waste combustion. Since 1994, my work has focused on integrating ecological and economic analyses to support effective decision-making; I have developed methodologies and conducted analyses at the watershed scale. In 2007, I began planning the Future Midwestern Landscapes Study, an alternative-futures analysis of landscapes, ecosystem services, and biofuels in the Midwestern U.S.
