Focus:
The Southeast Regional Environmental Finance Center at Louisville established in 1999, provides technical assistance and training in: addressing and managing conflicts that arise between environmental protection and economic development.
The EFC has two broad mandates from EPA:
- To develop more economically efficient and environmentally friendly incentives and other measures that encourage stable and sustainable human settlements.
- To improve the efficiency of environmental infrastructure service delivery.
