Peer Review

Peer review is the critical evaluation of scientific and technical work products by independent experts. Its purpose is to improve the quality, credibility, and acceptability of regulatory decisions. The study results generated during protocol development, pre-validation, and validation are combined into EDSP method-specific documents. These documents then undergo an external peer review following Agency guidelines. The peer review results and the optimized protocols will be used to develop EDSP testing guidelines.
