Description: A four-character plant identification number required to assign emissions information to plants in the facility subsystem. All emissions data elements in AFS are associated with an applicable NEDS (i.e., formerly the National Emissions Data System) Plant ID. Each NEDS ID, in combination with the state and county codes, uniquely identifies a plant.
