User Guide
MyPropertyInfo provides a single, printable report based on individual address searches from numerous EPA and State databases. MyPropertyInfo's results come from EPA's Facility Registry System (FRS) which contains information on over 2.6 million facilities or sites of interest to EPA. FRS integrates databases like Envirofacts and Cleanups in My Community into one search engine. A complete inventory of the databases can be found on the List of Systems page. The property search on the MyPropertyInfo home page searches address data from these 2.6 million facilities integrated from over 80 EPA and State databases.Geography Search Option
Select from the following geographical search options: ZIP Code, City, Street Name, House Number, and State. For best results, just supply the "base" street name along with a City and State or ZIP Code. Using the address of "9 West 57th Street, New York, NY 10019" as an example, you should only enter "9" for the house number and "57th" for the Street Name. This is due to the variability in direction codes and street types that EPA receives for street addresses. In the above example "West" can be denoted as both "West" and "W" while "Street" can be denoted as "Street", "ST", or "ST.".
Enter the house number for the address. The house number can be composed of both numeric and alphabetic characters such as "221B".
Street Name
Entering a street name is mandatory. For best results enter just the base name of the street. All entries containing the base name will be returned.
City
Enter a complete or partial city name. You must also enter the State.
ZIP Code
The ZIP Code entry can be five digits plus extension, or fewer. If you enter the zip code you do not have to enter the city and state.
State
Enter a two-character state postal abbreviation. A list of the postal abbreviations and the state names is provided below:
