Column Name: GENERIC_CHEM_NAME
Description: The generic, structurally descriptive term used in place of the toxic chemical name when a trade secret was claimed for the toxic chemical. The name must appear on both sanitized and unsanitized Form Rs and be the same as that used on the substantiation form. Section 1.3 will be 'NA' or blank if information is provided in Sections 1.1 (TRI_CHEM_ID) and 1.2 (CAS_CHEM_NAME), or 2.1 (MIXTURE_NAME). Note: Only Sanitized Trade Secret submissions are stored in the TRIS database.
