Description: The total land treatment disposal amount and other land disposal amount (in pounds) of the toxic chemical transferred from the facility to an off-site location or to Publicaly Owned Treatment Works (POTWs) during the calendar year (January 1 - December 31). Release amounts may be reported as specific numbers or as ranges (if the release is less than 1000 pounds). Letter codes are used to represent ranges: A = 1-10 pounds, B = 11-499 pounds, and C = 500-999 pounds. The letters are converted t o numbers for storage in the TRIS database where '1' represents range 'A', '3' represents range 'B', and '4' represents range 'C'. The historical value '2' = 1-499 pounds. If a facility uses a range code, the amount reported in the database is the midpoint of the range. Null values will appear as zero amount.
