Description: Percentage of the toxic chemical removed from the fourth waste stream through destruction, biological degradation, chemical conversion, or physical removal. (This does not refer to the general efficency of the treatment method.) The value is calculated as follows: ((I - E)/1) * 100, where I equals the amount of toxic chemical in the influent waste stream, and E equals the amount of the toxic chemical in the effluent waste stream.
