The database resides on an interactive Web site called the Stormwater Technologies Clearinghouse that was designed to help stakeholders (such as conservation commissioners, local officials, state and federal regulators, site developers and consultants) interpret information such as site and environmental considerations and treatment efficiencies for various pollutants. The database project was financed with federal funds from EPA to the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection under a Section 319 competitive grant.
