State Innovation Grant Program - Archive
Between 2002 and 2009, EPA provided financial assistance to state environmental agencies through the EPA State Innovation Grant program to help them test innovative approaches to improving results in permitting programs. This Web site is an archived site for the State Innovation Grant program and provides information about the competitions, projects, and their results. Using the EPA grant program, states tested and implemented a variety of new ideas to improve permit compliance and integrate voluntary stewardship approaches.
