The data included in this report are summarized from seven national, state, and local studies on CESQGs.

Conditionally Exempt Small Quantity Generators Rule - Standards for Non-Municipal Solid Waste Units that Receive CESQG Hazardous Waste
In 1996, EPA issued regulations that require any existing non-municipal, non-hazardous waste disposal unit that receives CESQG waste to comply with new technical standards, however, the rule continues to allow disposal of CESQG hazardous waste in municipal solid waste landfills (MSWLFs) when such landfills meet Part 258 criteria. Reuse or recycling facilities also continue to be an acceptable option for managing CESQG hazardous waste.
