Asphalt Shingle Recycling Forum
The rapidly growing asphalt shingle recycling industry will be the focus of the 4th Asphalt Shingle Recycling (ASR) Forum 
, presented by the Construction Materials Recycling Association (CMRA) . The forum will take place on November 5 & 6, 2009 at the Doubletree Hotel Chicago Magnificent Mile on Chicago’s north side.
The 4th ASR Forum program topics include:
- Environmental Benefits of Using Shingles in Road Construction
- Value of Recycled Asphalt Shingles in Hot Mix Asphalt
- Operating a New Shingle Recycling Facility
- Shingle Recycling Specifications
- Alternate End Uses & Processing Techniques

The event, which is the fourth organized by the CMRA, is co-sponsored by the Asphalt Roofing Manufacturers Association (ARMA), Owens Corning, and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). Other sponsors are the U.S. EPA, National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA), National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA), Recycled Materials Resource Center (RMRC) and Peterson.
