Phase 6: Evaluate Program Results

This final stage of the ERP cycle analyzes and synthesizes the data received from the self-certification forms and the post-certification inspections.

Perform Post-Certification Random Inspections

Random inspections are inspections of a set number of randomly chosen facilities to assess whether self-certification data was accurate and whether any changes in performance since the baseline inspections are discernible. This step also includes data entry for these inspections.

Collect and Analyze Post-Certification Data

Once data has been collected from random inspections before and after the certification period, you can conduct data analysis to assess program results. This is an opportunity to measure improvements in sector performance and to test any hypotheses you developed in the statistical methodology.

Resources to consider

Present/Publish Results

After analyzing your ERP's results, you will probably want to share your findings with internal and external stakeholders. You may wish to develop a standard presentation that illustrates your program's achievements and opportunities for improvement in the future. This is also a good juncture to consider whether your program approach should be adjusted based on the lessons you have learned in the first round of ERP.
