Indicators of Landscape Change – development of measures of landscape pattern change based on remote sensing imagery
Global Habitat Changes – measurement and interpretation of landscape indicators relative to forest and other natural habitat conditions and risks globally using remote sensing databases
Metapopulation Dynamics and Landscape Pattern – metapopulation extinction risks based on changes in landscape patterns
Molecular Evolution – relationships between changes in the pattern of habitats over the past 15 million years and patterns of species’ diversification and evolution as measured through mitochondrial DNA
