The Air Pollution Control Technology Center is operated in cooperation with RTI International Exit EPA Disclaimer. This center verifies commercial-ready technologies that control stationary and mobile air pollution sources, and mitigate the effects of indoor air pollutants. This center is also part of the Air Pollution Prevention and Control division, which is under EPA’s National Risk Management Research Laboratory.

Technologies that control air pollution help to protect human health and our ecological resources by reducing or preventing environmental risks. This center has verified technologies in a range of categories, including diesel engine emission controls, baghouse filtration products, nitrogen oxides and volatile organic compound emission controls, dust suppression and soil stabilization products, and paint overspray arrestors.
