Environmental Technology Verification
 Centers Funding Announcement

EPA’s National Risk Management Research Laboratory has issued an announcement for a request for applications for competitive cooperative agreements to design and operate five Environmental Technology Verification (ETV) Program Centers:

• Air Pollution Control Technology Center
• Drinking Water Systems Center
• Greenhouse Gas Technology Center
• Water Quality Protection Center
• Materials Management and Remediation Center

EPA anticipates awarding up to five separate cooperative agreements (one for each of the five centers being competed) from this announcement. The request for applications opens December 12, 2007, and closes January 28, 2008, at 4:30 p.m., EST. Questions should be submitted in writing by December 31, 2007, to the individual set forth in Section VII of the announcement. Applications may be submitted in printed form by mail or electronically through Grants.Gov (see Section IV of the announcement).

This announcement is in response to discussions at the ETV Pre-Solicitation Public Forum, “ETV Public/Private-Sector Arrangements,” held on September 6, 2006, at EPA’s Andrew W. Breidenbach Environmental Research Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.
