How to Apply
It is easy to create, edit, and store your online resumé to apply for jobs at the EPA. Just click on the "Login/Register/Browse" button on the main page and follow

After you login to the system, select the "New Users" option, and click on the "Next" button. Fill in all the "User Information" and resumé data fields. Next, fill in your email notification preferences and click on the "Next" button again. After answering the last question, click "Continue." Your user information will be electronically stored and the system will assign you an ID number. (Store this number in a safe place! You may use either your ID number or your email address and password to reenter to the system
If you are already registered and your personal and resumé information is up-to-date, select the "Registered Users" option on the login page and enter your User ID (or email address) and your password, select "Go to Jobs" and click on the "Next" button. If you need to change your personal or demographic information simply select the appropriate option. Remember that any changes you make will not be reflected on any of your applications for vacancies that have already closed.
You can browse for job opportunities without registering. You can also apply for jobs that you are interested in and for which you are qualified.
In order to view a listing of current job announcements, select the "Just Browsing" option. Click on the "Next" button to browse available jobs. You will be able to view the content by clicking the View button next to the vacancy announcement number. Reading the content of the announcement will help you to determine whether you want to apply for a particular vacancy announcement. You will be able to apply for jobs based on your profile once you have completed the registration process.
As a registered user, you may apply for job vacancies. Select the "New Users" or "Registered Users" option. Click on "Go to jobs." If you are a New User, select that option and follow the instructions.
When applying for a vacancy, carefully read and respond to the vacancy announcement application questions, then click on the "finished" button. will then ask you whether you want to receive a copy of the questions and your responses sent to your email account. You should always select this option. You may log into the system and edit your responses to the announcement application questions until the announcement closes. All
If you are interested in applying for a job with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), you will need to provide a copy of your resumé during the job application process. EPA will need information regarding your background, experience, and education. A template is being provided to facilitate your creating a personal resumé. This simple template is available in WordPerfect and MS Word for your convenience.
Your password is case sensitive and must be a minimum of 5 characters long (you can use upper or lower case letters). For example, if you choose a password of EMPLOYEE, each time you enter your password, you must type it using all capital letters.
The best way to "log out" of is to simply close the window on your browser. This will prevent anyone else from using your account without your knowledge.
