ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY [FRL-5504-6] Ozone, Particulate Matter and Regional Haze Implementation Program Subcommittee; Meeting AGENCY: Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). ACTION: Notice of public meeting.
SUMMARY: On September 11, 1995 (60 FR 47172) the EPA announced the establishment of the Ozone, Particulate Matter and Regional Haze Implementation Programs Subcommittee under the Clean Air Act Advisory Committee (CAAAC). The CAAAC was established on November 8, 1990 (55 FR 46993) pursuant to the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA) (5 U.S.C. app I). The purpose of the Subcommittee is to provide advice and recommendations on integrated approaches for implementing potentially new national ambient air quality standards (NAAQS) for ozone and particulate matter, as well as a regional haze program. OPEN MEETING DATES: Notice is hereby given that the Subcommittee for Development of Ozone, Particulate Matter and Regional Haze Implementation Programs will hold its next open meeting on Thursday, May [[Page 24307]] 30, 1996, from 8:00-5:00 p.m., at the Omni Durham Hotel, 201 Foster Street, Durham, North Carolina. Seating will be available on a first come, first served basis. To assist EPA in planning the public meeting, persons interested in attending should register with EPA by contacting Susan Cooke at Science Applications International Corporation by telephone at 919-544-2848 or by faxing your name and address to her attention at 919-544-4175.
The public is invited to submit written views and recommendations on new integrated approaches for implementing these programs. Such comments should be submitted (in duplicate) to docket A-95-38. The docket is open for public inspection and copying between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., weekdays, at the Air and Radiation Docket and Information Center (6102), room M-1500, 401 M Street, SW., Washington, D.C. 20460.
