Notice Dated September 9, 1999
AGENCY: Environmental Protection Agency.
ACTION: Notice to Rescind Previous Federal Register Notice.

SUMMARY: On September 9, 1999, (64 FR 49014), the Environmental
Protection Agency (EPA) published a Notice of Proposed Settlement for
response costs incurred by the EPA at the Carolina Creosoting Site
located in Leland, North Carolina. The purpose of this notice is to
rescind EPA's September 9, 1999 Federal Register Notice regarding the
settlement of response costs at the Site. The Notice of Proposed
Settlement for the Site may be republished in the future.
