Under the provisions of the Federal Advisory Committee Act (Public Law 92-463; 86 Stat. 770), notice is hereby given of the following meeting:
Name: Advisory Committee on the Demonstration and Commercial Application of Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Technologies. Date and Time: June 21, 1995, 10:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Place: The Grand Hotel, 2350 M Street, NW., Washington, DC. Contact: Thomas W. Sacco, Office of Technical Assistance (EE- 542), Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, U.S. Department of Energy, Washington, DC 20585, Telephone 202/586-0759. Purpose of Committee: To advise the Secretary of Energy on the development of the solicitation and evaluation criteria for commercialization ventures, and on otherwise carrying out her responsibilities under the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Technology Competitiveness Act of 1989 (Public Law 101-218, 42 U.S.C. 12005), as amended by the Energy Policy Act of 1992 (Public Law 102-486, 42 U.S.C. 13201).
Tentative Agenda: Briefings and discussions of: <bullet> Review of DOE solicitation for a financial intermediary for program implementation;
<bullet> Discussion of contents of final report; <bullet> Other matters requiring Committee consideration; <bullet> Public Comment Period (10 minute rule). Public Participation: The meeting is open to the public. Written statements may be filed with the Committee either before or after the meeting. Members of the public who wish to make oral statements pertaining to agenda items should contact Thomas W. Sacco at the address or telephone number listed above. Requests to make oral presentations must be received 2 days prior to the meeting; reasonable provision will be made to include the statement in the agenda. The Chair of the Committee is empowered to conduct the meeting in a fashion that will facilitate the orderly conduct of business.
