Time and Place: Tuesday, June 16, 1998, at 9:30 am. The meeting will be held at the Export-Import Bank in room 1143, 811 Vermont Avenue, NW, Washington, D.C. 20571. Agenda: The meeting will include a discussion of Ex-Im Bank's annual Competitiveness Report to Congress. In addition there will be discussions regarding information collected from exporters of the net impact of Ex-Im Bank's foreign content policy on the U.S. economy and specifically on U.S. jobs; Medium term delegated authority based on interviews with banks to determine whether the banking community has the capacity to or interest in taking additional risk; and Project Finance: bringing private sector expertise to bear on how Ex-Im Bank can resolve the administrative issues associated with comprehensive pre-completion cover. Public Participation: The meeting will be open to public participation, and the last 10 minutes will be set aside for oral questions or comments. Members of the public may also file written statement(s) before or after the meeting.
