Automated Tissue Processing Center

A computer operated tissue processing system, with two independent reaction chambers for mulitple processing runs, provides for the dehydration and paraffin infiltration of tissue samples.

The unit permits the fully-contained exchange of dehydration reagents and melted paraffin embedding medium to a reaction vessel containing specimen cassettes.

Computer operation allows processing to be carried out overnight without technician supervision. The system can be programmed with numerous processing schedules to accommodate various tissue types and/or specialized procedures.
