Options for Obtaining PSS2001 Software
There are three ways to obtain the PSS2001 software:
- Download it from this site (1.33 MB);
- If you encounter problems downloading PSS2001, you may send an Email to get_pss@glnpo.net to receive the software by Email as an attachment;
- If all else fails, you may contact Mr. Larry Brail by telephone at (312) 886-7474, or by snail mail at: Lawrence Brail; USEPA; Mail Code G-17J; Chicago, IL 60604.
Update News:
An updated version (Version C) of PSS2001 has been issued and is available for download. The update fixes a cosmetic bug which showed additional data fields for Biodiversity Investment Areas on the printed preproposal which are not being used this year.
NOTE: The error in the printout is only cosmetic and it does not affect submission of your preproposal in any way, it only affects the printout that you see — our cataloging software will read your preproposal correctly, so you don't need to download it if you have already completed your preproposal in an earlier version of PSS2001.
The bug fix of Version B which caused errors when trying to import PSS1 and PSS2 Format Files is also included in Version C.
IMPORTANT:
To prevent Data Loss, DO NOT UNINSTALL
the previous version of PSS2001 before Installing the Update.
Instead, simply Download and
Install the updated version over
the previous version.
