Impairment Assessment Report
Detailed individual assessment reports (20 to 200 pages) are being written for each of the 14 potentially impaired beneficial uses in Lake Erie. The reports are being treated as independent documents and are being released as they are completed.
Each report identifies the assessment criteria, the time period assessed, references used, locations of known impairments, and causes and/or sources of the impairment, if known. Any informational gaps and additional questions that must be addressed before further assessment can be accomplished are noted in each report.
These reports were produced by the Lake Erie Lakewide Management Plan (LaMP) and are not the product of any particular government agency.
