The Black Lagoon Great Lakes Legacy Act project was completed in November 2005 and the final site clean up and equipment removal including the cranes and barges is underway.  In the spring, some seeding and straw blankets will be placed along the exposed banks to control erosion.  The city of Trenton has received funding to restore the shoreline to a more natural condition and has plans to build a marina now that the Bay has been cleaned up.
