NOAA Stakeholder Forum Information August 6, 2009

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) seeks your input on its direction for the next 25 years.
NOAA welcomes you to participate in a Stakeholder Forum to be held on Thursday, August 6, 2009 from 1:30-4:00 PM in the Moonlight Ballroom, Salon A, of the Battle House Hotel, following the closing plenary of the Gulf of Mexico Alliance All-Hands meeting.
Please come and join us for a discussion of the future in the Gulf of Mexico Region. We will discuss issues and trends likely to arise by 2035, opportunities and challenges facing the Gulf of Mexico and the nation now and in the future, and what NOAA should strive to accomplish. NOAA is revising its Strategic Plan and seeks your input on what may be the leading challenges and opportunities in the future. Please come share your thoughts on this and how NOAA may best help address these issues.
Please RSVP to Kristen Laursen, NOAA Gulf of Mexico Regional Coordinator, at Kristen.R.Laursen@noaa.gov or 727-551-5754. Space is limited so sign up now if you would like to participate. We look forward to hearing from you.
