Sammy Soil (A Downloadable Coloring Book)

The Sammy Soil On Line Coloring Book was developed by the Mississippi Soil and Water Conservation Commission by means of a grant from the Gulf of Mexico Program to help children understand the importance of conserving natural resources -- our soil and water.
Please take some some to review these pages with your child. We believe that by teaching children the value of our natural resources, they will grow up with a desire to protect and use them wisely. We also hope that parents and other adults learn something in this process as well.
The coloring book was designed by Melanie Sanderson and adapted from the Sammy Soil story by Ernest H. Whitaker and Sandra L. Purdue.
