All energy and water data are reported as of FY 2012. Though it is a laboratory, the Region 5 Laboratory is a non-reporting facility, which means the facility is not required to submit quarterly energy and water data to EPA or the Department of Energy (DOE).
This U.S. General Services Administration-owned building houses the Environmental Services Division for EPA Region 5. Region 5 shares this space with the Department of Agriculture; the Immigration Office; the Army, Navy, and Air Force Recruiting Office; and GSA.
The Region 5 Laboratory provides high-quality analytical support for EPA programs, including efforts to regulate hazardous and toxic materials, protect drinking-water supplies, improve air and water quality, and control water pollution from non-point sources in and around the Great Lakes Region.
Unique Environmental Features
