EPA's Combined Scope 1 and 2 Greenhouse Gas Emissions

This chart shows EPA's combined Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions that are subject to the Agency's reduction goal.

In fiscal year (FY) 2008, EPA's combined Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions totaled 140,809 metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent (MTCO2e).

In FY 2010, EPA's combined Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions totaled 138,752 MTCO2e.

In FY 2010, EPA's net reportable Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions totaled 28,825 MTCO2e.

In FY 2011, EPA's combined Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions totaled 140,437 MTCO2e.

In FY 2011, EPA's net reportable Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions totaled 60,634 MTCO2e.

EPA's FY 2020 Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions goal is 105,607 MTCO2e.
