| Partner Profile Clarke is a global environmental products and services company. Our mission is to make communities around the world more livable, safe, and comfortable. We do this by pioneering, developing, and delivering environmentally responsible mosquito control and aquatic services to help prevent disease, control nuisances and create healthy waterways. Along with human health and the environment, sustainability and corporate social responsibility matter at Clarke. These things are not just the right thing to do, they have proven to be a better business strategy in which we are able to measurably impact energy and resource consumption and share our story with others. In 2012, through green power contracts and on-site solar power, we are on track to have as much as 44% of our electricity consumption sourced from renewable energy. Our 100% green power contracts are third-party certified wind contracts for our two manufacturing and one R&D facility in Illinois. We have solar panels installed on facilities in Illinois and Brisbane, Australia. At Clarke, we have set very ambitious sustainability goals including reaching 20% of our energy consumption to be sourced from renewable resources by the end of 2014. We have learned that green power contracts in the state of Illinois, saved us money over the previous contracts with public utilities conventional supply. | |
