| Partner Profile Discovery Green Conservancy is a non-profit organization that developed, and now maintains, a 12 acre urban park in downtown Houston, Texas. Discovery Green using 100% green power generated from biomass and an array of 256 solar panels located on the roofs of two buildings in the park. Discovery Green opened in April of 2008 and has always used green power. The decision to use green power was to demonstrate to the community our commitment to environmental stewardship. Due to this commitment in the development of the park, Discovery Green received LEED Gold Certification. | |
