Each year, the Freescale Austin campuses purchase more than 12 million kilowatt-hours of energy derived primarily from wind. This purchase represents more than 3 percent of its annual electricity usage in Austin and is a big step in our efforts to reduce our carbon footprint and support green power initiatives in the Austin area. | |
