| Partner Profile The State of Wisconsin is committed to energy independence as a way to increase energy security and climate stewardship. Currently, the State is purchasing more than 156 million kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity. Additionally, Wisconsin state agencies and Universities have been tasked with reducing their energy consumption by 10 percent by 2008. Moreover, all Wisconsin electric utilities must source 10 percent for their electricity sales from renewable sources by 2015. | |
