| Partner Profile The University of Central Oklahoma's (UCO's) green power purchase is one of the largest by a college or university in the nation. UCO is purchasing 100 percent of its power from wind, or over 26 million kilowatt-hours of green power annually. The University prides itself on being the change they would like to see in the community. The Green Power Partnership is one aspect of UCO's goal of being environmentally friendly. The University also has onsite bio-diesel production, works with a performance contractor to increase its energy performance, and employs ENERGY STAR-labeled products. Through all of these efforts, UCO is truly becoming a Green University. | |
